A very experienced publisher once told me that “reviews sell books”. Although I think there’s a bit more to it than that, I hope he’s right because so far I’m pleased with what the reviewers on Amazon.co.uk are saying about my Better Spread Betting book.
The consensus opinion seems to be that the book is very accessible for beginner spread bettors while also containing more in-depth (but still very accessible) coverage of important issues such as financial risk and money management. The final “One more thing…” chapter containing nuggets of wisdom from other spread betting authors (like Malcolm Pryor and The Naked Trader) and spread betting industry insiders seems to have been particularly well received.
If you don’t have a copy of the Better Spread Betting book yet, remember that I have an offer on the PDF edition. So as not to disadvantage readers of other formats, and so as to get more people reading and reviewing the book, I have temporarily reduced the prices of the print edition and Kindle edition too. Not forever, though!
My intention is to continue filling any gaps in the content via this companion Better Spread Betting web site / blog and news feed until I can find the time to work on a second edition of the book. So it makes sense for you to read both the book and this blog. And to ensure that you don’t miss a thing, you might like to…
